Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD) and Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ:MANH) are scheduled to report their quarterly financial results during after-market hours on Tuesday, January 31. AMD and MANH will be reporting results for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2016 (4QFY16). Both companies are expected to surpass Wall Street estimates yet again.
Advanced Micro Devices
Advanced Micro Devices has a consensus loss per share (LPS) of two cents. This marks a remarkable improvement from last year’s 4Q LPS of 10 cents. On the contrary, Earningswhispers.com predicts the semiconductor developer to further enhance its bottom line this season and produce breakeven results. This, however, represents a decline of three cents from the preceding quarter.
Furthermore, the consensus revenue estimate stands at $1.07 billion, which would represent an increase of 12% year-over-year (YoY), and is in-line with the company’s 4Q revenue outlook of $1.03-1.11 billion at the midpoint. However, if the estimate holds true, the company would witness a decline of 18% on a quarter-over-quarter basis. Moreover, Estimize.com expects the company to surpass Wall Street estimates with revenue estimate of $1.1 billion.
Wall Street analysts expect EPS to come in at 43 cents, which would represent an increase of 10.25% YoY but a decline of 8.51% QoQ. Once again, Earningswhispers.com expects the company to beat the Street estimates with its EPS forecast of 45 cents.
Furthermore, revenue is expected to clock in at $149.18 million, which would represent an increase of 5.5% YoY. However, Estimize.com predicts the top line to expand further to $150.04 million this quarter
