Sony Corp. (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) has announced that a new color option is joining the PlayStation 4 family. The Glacier White model will be available in Europe on January 24. Now, the color isn’t entirely new, but it’s new for the PlayStation 4 slim.

This is a standard, you get 500GB HDD and a matching Glacier White Dualshock 4 controller at the standard price. It isn’t clear if the white model will be coming to other regions, but it definitely should, given that previous PS4 models have. The Glacier White color was first made available through the Destiny console bundle before being sold as a standard SKU alongside Jet Black.

The PS4 slim was announced in September; it features a slimmer and lighter console, and shares a common design language with the PS4 Pro. The console also comes with the new Dualshock 4 with LED strip on the touch bar. Now that a new color option has been announced for the standard PS4, there should be one incoming for the high-end PS4 Pro as well.
