Now that Ubisoft Entertainment SA (EPI:UBI) has released its 1.6 update for the public test servers of Tom Clancy’s The Division, a major chunk of the PTS’s players have been complaining about a few of the update’s newest features and changes, stating that they either are too overpowered or are so insignificant that it’s pointless using them. As a result, here’s a look at some changes you could expect the developers to change or add in, with the PTS’s Phase 2.
Let’s start with this one change which is currently driving everyone in the Public Test Servers insane. Yes! We are talking about the two recently added exotic weapons. We agree that The Dual Valkyries look cool but they are extremely overpowered.
Players who are aware of this can easily take their average DPS to up to 30 million which is absolutely insane. As a result, the fix for this change is somewhat confirmed. For more details on Hildr and Eir, click here.
Furthermore, according to the developer’s most recent live stream, the SEEKR set will see some drastic changes. The newly added gear set, which previously aided the player with critical damage, has been completely reworked. The SEEKR set’s talents will be changed to the following;
- Set Bonus (2): +X% Resist All
- Set Bonus (3): +5% Body Shot Damage
- Set Bonus (4): After 2 Consecutive shots to the body, the next headshot has +200% Headshot Damage bonus
The MDR has also been confirmed to see changes in PTS’s Phase 2. The gun will receive a gigantic 65% increase in base damage. And that’s not all, the Showstopper Shotgun is also set to receive some damage buffs.
As most of us already know, the Phase 2 section of the PTS is set to add in The Last Stand game mode, along with the Normalization feature. For more details on those two new additions, check out Arekkz Gaming’s overview video here.
